Spirit Fish Celebration
Sunday March 21st

It’s Spring and World Water Day!
Come and celebrate outside! See and experience our local waterways  
full of life, playful art and music

·                              1 pm - Fishy Bike Parade following the  
path of Still Creek and the Central Valley Green Way. Decorate  
yourself and your bike like a fish and meet on the bike path below  
Renfrew Skytrain Station in Vancouver. Join the fish bikes swimming  
east along the Central Valley Greenway
·                              2 pm – 4:30 pm - art, music, boat  
rides, spirit fish boats, tea and snacks next to Still Creek on the  
bike trail under the Kensington overpass just west of the Sperling  
Skytrain station
·                             3:15 pm special Spirit Fish live music  
and dance performance and Prayers for the Water ritual





The Spirit Fish Project is an art and watershed awareness project by  
Still Moon Arts Society with the support of BC Arts Council, City of  
Burnaby and numerous community partners. We want to connect  
communities to how water gets from our back yards through streams and  
rivers to the ocean. Water is the circulatory system of the earth and  
we want to celebrate it and our and all living creatures’ dependence  
on it for our lives.
